They already fixed it in Maverick! As of now I am using the Maverick backported kernel(2.6.35-19)! Haven't got any problems so far; works better than 2.6.33 with the `i915.modeset=1 or 0` parameter. I run most games on highest graphics mode.(with the previous kernel doing so would cause the game
