lightdm greeter session not properly shut
What do you mean with current zesty? I just installed all updates (I
don't use proposed), but I have not restarted pc and/or lightdm...
If /usr/lib/lightdm/lightdm-greeter-session has this line:
eval `dbus-launch --sh-syntax`
Then my second seat / session works - I can logout & login without

You are using old/buggy version. Fix will be available in
1:3.18.7-0ubuntu0.2 version.
Please use/test version from my ppa. Your reported problem with GNOME
Terminal is most likely same problem that should be fixed.
If you have other bugs, please report as separate bugs. Ideally with
steps how
Dmitry, this should be fixed in 3.22.1. Do you need new release also for
3.20 or will you just add patch from gnome-3-20 branch?

No, I did not try to reproduce without compositor. But I think it is/was
compositor problem.
