[Bug 391628] Re: Everything gets swapped out after resume from suspend using fglrx drivers

2010-05-01 Thread Aldoo
Still happening in Lucid, Catalyst 10.04. Dell, why not... But isn't Canonical even more concerened? For all I know they are working quite closely with AMD guys (Ubuntu Lucid was the only disto to have preversions of the Xorg 1.7 compatible Catalyst 10.04 during the beta stage, AFAIK). --

[Bug 185131] Re: [GUTSY KDE4] Suspend and hibernate don't work

2008-05-10 Thread Aldoo
It seems the fix has been propagated to the 4.0 branch in 4.0.4. Now suspend works on my computer under KDE4 and hibernate also, although it does not resume from hibernation (btw, what is the command KDE uses for going into hibernation so I can tweak it and replace it with s2 which actually

[Bug 183266] Re: Okular crashes with gs files

2008-04-15 Thread Aldoo
Well according to the latter link, it seems that this is not an upstream bug, but a problem with a patch from Debian (which Ubuntu uses). I don't know what that patch is supposed to do, but I think I'd rather have a non-crashing postscript support in okular ! (By the way, kghostview works just

2008-02-11 Thread Aldoo
Well, anyway, it has been solved for months, now, in Gutsy. I should have thought to close the bug though. Thanks nevertheless ;-). -- snd-usb-audio does not spawn alsa device for my quickcam messenger built-in microphone https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/94202 You received this bug notification

I confirm this too. In fact, I just realized after reading this that it occured after the routine fsck. But that seem consistant with what I saw. I had this problem in Edgy, and now in Feisty. -- Routine fdisk deactivates swap, changing UUID https://launchpad.net/bugs/90526 -- ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: I just upgraded my system from edgy to feisty herd 5, and now I have few problems with my Logitech Quickcam messenger. Until now I had video and audio working fine. Now, when I boot up, or when I plug my webcam, snd-usb-audio module is loaded as intended, but it does not
