Title:
Devhelp index trims function names for python docs making them
unsearchable
Public bug reported:
The devhelp index for Python 3.8 docs (Ubuntu 20.04) trims method and attribute
names from the index items, leaving only the "(<...> method|attribute)" part.
Effectively that makes most of the items there unsearchable through devehelp
interface.
For instance, the index

Resolved the bug by switching from mplayer 2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1+svn33713-1 to
mplayer2 2.0-134-g84d8671-2build1 .
Both are available in oneiric repository.
Possibly it is a packaging issue - smplayer should require mplayer2 while it
requires any mplayer version.

I confirm that Sync to VBlank improved situation.
But graphics on my desktop is still significantly slower than in 10.10,

responsive enough to be pleasant in daily work.
Tested both in Unity and Classic.

. There is a link to an experimental driver having the bug fixed. If the fix
works for you, maybe this bug could be closed as duplicate.

Bryce,
Your version of the driver seems to work fine on my Radeon 3200.
Since I had installed the driver I have observed no X hangs when switching user
after some inactivity (the PC was online whole week).
Thanks!
Only dehibernation still hangs X, but that's a story for another bug...

Bryce,
I've just installed the driver from the location you've provided. ATI CC says
it's version 8.62.4 - is it the correct one?
I'll send feedback in a few days.

I confirm on Radeon 3200 with fglrx and compiz on Jaunty.
Switching user after longer time of computer inactivity sometimes (30%
reproducibility?) renders screen black.
There is a slight difference because I can see the mouse cursor and I can
switch to text console and kill -9 compiz.real
I checked a moment ago on Dapper's Thunderbird 1.5.0.8 (20061115) and it works
fine now!
I think the bug may be closed as either fixed or not reproducible.
