This workaround only works if the underlying connection can be preserved
during the entire session. If the server is rebooted or if the

Because I'm still experiencing this issue with Catalyst 10.7 (downloaded
from ATI website) in Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit. Unminimizing a non-maximized
window is instant, but there's a noticeable pause before unminimizing a

Steps to reproduce:
1) Mount a remote file system. The command I used was "sshfs u...@server:/

I experience exactly the same behavior in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) and
in Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx). Both client system use 64-bit versions of
Ubuntu. I can also confirm that kill command doesn't terminate Nautilus
process (even with SIGKILL).

I don't understand the ongoing "holy war" at all. Why can't the
confirmation dialog be optional. Those who want it, will turn it on, and
those who don't want it will turn it off. Problem solved and everyone's
happy.

This bug doesn't affect FF 3.5.x for me (Karmic) but does affect FF 3.6
(Karmic - stable PPA; Lucid). I was able to reproduce this bug in
different installations. It's always the same and only affects FF 3.6.
