Since the dawn of graphical user interfaces, there has been almost no
change in now we manage and organize files and folders. The file
managers of today are fundamentally identical to the file managers 20
years ago. All of the file namagers of today - in any operating system,
I monitored my memory usage during a scanning job (60+ pages) and I
observed the following:
On the machine where the scan was performed I have 1GB of RAM. Each new
scanned page (in color at 300ppi) increased my RAM usage by ~30MB. This
process continued until my memory usage reached ~850MB. After

Binary package hint: simple-scan
I had been copying a book since last night, using simple scan, and
several times I have encountered the following problem.
When I attempt to save the scanned pages as a PDF file, the file is not
created properly. The worst part though, is

I had been using the nvidia 3D experimental driver for a while, and with
it I was able to utilize the graphic card acceleration. However,
recently I noticed that that driver was causing my computer not to
