the linuxserver.io team has identified the problem : it's a libseccomp
library problem on the host (debian) and not an ubuntu docker image

Hello, I upgraded with do-release-upgrade as well. My system is kind of
old (June 26th of 2011) with different updates since (not all in a row,
I skipped one or two).
I just checked what packages were flagged to "manually installed", this is
probably the reason :

The timestamp is over two years ago so it might be a very old bug that left

I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu Natty 11.04. Also had it in Ubuntu

Steps to reproduce :
- launch a movie with Totem
- change the brightness setting in Totem preferences
- quit totem
- launch the same movie with vlc
- the brightness will be the same configured in

Got the same problem (bug 605583) with a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04 while
trying to install Eclipse IDE.
I then managed to update my system without a problem (with apt-get update
apt-get upgrade), and also installed Eclipse IDE without a problem on this
updated system.

I think this isn't driver issue. I'm on a non-apple Wifi G network
(Neufbox Trio3D) with a ASUS F3JM (iwl3945) and am experiencing the same
problem. After seeing this post, I tried the Wep to Hex conversion site

Manually moving /etc/rc*.d/S20gdm to /etc/rc*.d/S30gdm solved the problem.
