I updated the md5sums in debian/config and debian/postinst, which seems to fix it. In addition to the md5sum on the tarball, the md5sum for libflashplayer.so is 1f26a6eeb8c06acf0af9433da2312d54. -- flashplugin-nonfree fails to install due to md5sum mismatch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173890
