gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in
manager_recheck_permissions()
It is a bug. System should not sleep when an external monitor is
attached, whether lid is closed or not.

Some child windows do not have shadows.
Test case:
Open Thunderbird for the first time.
A child window will appear to create a new account.
It does not have shadows.
Synaptic package manager also have the same issue.
