Hi, I have a brand new Acer F5-571 with a qualcomm atheros device and the wireless doesn't work. I removed windows10 and installed the latest ubuntu-mate wily 15.10 (same issue in mint 17.3). I'm somewhat of a newbie so please be gentle. I have tried a number of the points in this bug report
