Yes, I'm agree, Debian works well, Ubuntu not.
What ist the output of:
strings /usr/bin/mpb|sort -u|grep include
ubuntu-12.04 $ apt-cache

ERROR: No such file or directory: /usr/share/libctl3/base/include.scm
libctl3 is installed, but, the directory in /usr/share is not libctl3
but libctl.
