Another workaround besides unpinning the nautilus icon, is this: sudo mv /usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop /usr/share/applications/nautilus2.desktop sudo mv /usr/share/applications/nautilus-folder-handler.desktop /usr/share/applications/nautilus-folder-handler2.desktop sudo mv
