When i start firefox or adobe reader to read some file or URL, the Xorg
process usage goes as high as 100 % and the scrolling makes the screen
to flicker. The /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old shows the stack trace. glxinfo
command also does not work.

Hi Robert,
Can you make the 713643 as the parent and the other as the child. The reason

Also, after installing the latest ATI driver for my graphics card from
ATI website, the driver is not working.
Following error comes when i try to activate the ati driver from
system-admin-hardware drivers.
