This might sound stupid and out of topic, but this bug was the last straw for
me to migrate from Ubuntu to MacOSX.
I survived Unity migration, but not this tiny bug.

I've found a workaround to avoid hard reboot:
kill the pulseaudio daemon:
pulseaudio -k
Though it does not start again, but at least sound appears again.

Public bug reported:
The problem appeared after upgrade to Hardy.
When I am trying to open a http url in terminal (right mouse button -
Open Link), an error window appears, saying (for example):
Could not open the address http://0.0.0.0:8080/: There was an error
launching the default action
You are right: I checked preferred applications and Firefox was not
there for web urls. After setting firefox there, all the urls work fine
from terminal.
Thanks a lot.
Strange that default browser become unset after upgrading to Hardy.

I am not sure: should I close the ticket?
And is it recognized as a problem, that default browser become unset
after upgrade?

svn: Unrecognised URL scheme for http://host.com/repo;.
The error started to occure after latest update of svn
I disabled feisty-proposed and reinstalled all the SVN stuff. The version
became previous - 1.4.3dfsg1-1ubuntu1.
Works as a temporary solution.
Thanks to Emilio Pozeulo Monfort :)
