hello.. I have ubuntu 8.04 beta plus all the upgrades and I am affected by this bug as well. I have a BCM4311 card and I needs ndiswrapper as the native driver works fine if close to the router, but perform badly when little far away... I never got problems till ubuntu 7.10, but now I have to
