I have the same behaviour on 18.04 with ppa:xubuntu-dev/ppa. xfdesktop
is 4.12. The only workaround is to make the system run xfdesktop -R -A
after login. Anyone can do it adding the command to Session and
Startup/Application Autostart.

I used a backup server as a test system, with a mirror of postfix-dovecot

Hi, Jonas
I coudn't get the proper results and some people complained that they

I expect to have a few hours today to get to this :-)

Hello
I have been trying to compile the old driver, modified over and over on
12.10. I succeeded to compile it, but the modifications were too many,
and the driver does not work properly. Why are we in need of so many
modifications? xorg 1.3.0 widthdrawed XAA acceleration, just EXA is
supported,
rectification, X version is 1.13.0

apachectl configtest returns ok
apachectl
I have not noticed the behavior on 2 servers running oneiric. On my
laptop, migrated to 12.04 the problem persists. I have not shares on it,
but I have nfs mounts. I have not noticed false shutdowns when take the
laptop to places where fstab cannot mount my shares. What I will try to
do next is
Thanks Andreas, I will conduct trials and in case results are positive I
will make a shutdown script. I still have to look at the logs.

I am not saying that xfce4 is in any way responsible, because if I
switch to gome it happens, i believe xfce4 is just on the way.

Up to now I have not seen it happening in Oneiric. But I have not been
too demanding in terms of file deletion.
