What actually happens: It does not. I get the waiting cursor and the

When dragging operation is started, an a black box is drawn around the
icon and leaves a trail behind it. I could only capture the black box
but not the trail with gnome-screenshot. Also it leaves artifacts with

Okay after doing so more digging I discovered that defining custom
keyboard shortcuts does work but it apparently does not like the FN+F3
key. It puts it down as Battery. The same goes for the ThinkVantage
button - it puts down as Launch1 and apparently the system will not
interpret those. If I

I tried creating custom shortcut keys for the ThinkVantage button and FN
= F3 combo. I had not problem creating the shortcuts but nothing happens
when I use the shortcuts. I have double-checked to make sure that the

Okay this is getting silly really, after the last round of updates it
fixed this issue on my 12.04.3 Desktop system. I thought Cool. Well
after another round of updates; and all I am doing is using the Update
Manager for this, this message is back on boot up. The download and
install finishes just

The label Ubuntu Desktop still disappears and the menu still does not

I am running a fresh install of 12.04 as well and this has been going on
for sometime but I noticed that it only happens when the Software Center
starts with a slideshow showcasing apps. Sometimes it starts with only 1
billboard and it does not crash with this, only with the slidesohow.

I have noticed that with LibreOffice 3.4.3 and the latest build of
Oneiric Ocelot this occurring when I first start writer or calc. The
controls, menu and title are not drawn until I clcik and give the focus
to another window and than click back on writer - then everything works
fine. Strange -

Hello gentlemen, after the latest round of updates of unity-2d - the
issue with minimizing and restoring has been fixed but when I first
start Empathy - there is no appname and no menubar. I can click on the
desktop and back on the window and it appears. The unity-2d build I
currently have is
Okay gentlmen I do not know why I could not get it to work before but
setting the primary password in the bios DOES work. The bios version is
A15. Actually for security reasons maybe this is not such a bad thing. I
did notice a difference between closing the lid to put it in suspend and
selecting
The hibernate function does work. It also kicks on the screensaver in
lock mode before it puts the laptop in hibernation. Cool!

I thoght I would mention this here instead of filing a new bug. What is
the status on giving a visual clue there is something in the trash like
you have in unity? I know there is a user-trash-full icon for it in the
unity icon theme or is there still some debate on the icons to use for
the trash?.
When you press the super key, the shortcuts for the applications,
files places and trash are visible but not for the workspace switcher.

1. Start gCalctool - it does not matter what mode it is already in - let's this
say for this example it is in Basic mode.

3. Click on Advanced - it does
I can see your point Mark - it would help in having a non-bold text for
other languages. I will tinker with it and see what kind of damage I can
do since I like to mess with this stuff. I am still learning the qml
language though - but it's fun.

Well since I like to tinker - and I'm nuts. :) I thought I would see
what that would look like. I did not change it to a non-bold font
though. I would think it would not look as good on a small laptop lcd
screen but that is just my opinion.
