I a problem on MBP 6,2 that might be related. When I close the lid, it
seems as it suspends, but then it never resumes but behaves as if it
restarts. I'm not sure it's really a restart as i think i once noticed a
process I didn't expect to be running on a fresh start (a program i ran
myself). In

Btw, it happens sporadically. took me some time to realize its the
wireless card. if i take the card out, the system sometimes recovers,
and then i can re-plug it and use it for a few more minutes before the
problems happens again.

attached is the output of dmesg after resuming from suspend when gnome-
do is running.
here is some more (weird) info for the case it gives someone a hint. i know it
may sound like a hoax, but it's real.
when my laptop hangs upon resume from suspend, it seems to do something but
nothing is

as a temp workaround, one can use a script that adds the name servers
back to the /etc/resolv.conf file.
echo nameserver {dns-address1-goes-here} /etc/resolv.conf
echo nameserver {dns-address2-goes-here} /etc/resolv.conf
and run this script using sudo after each time the VPN
had the same problem - the fix was to remove the WINDOW_MANAGER from
~/.gnomerc
