Juju2 should have the option to feed logs into rsyslog.
I believe currently they are fed into the mongo jujudb backing.
Our usecase is that we would like to use rsyslog to centralise logs into
an elasticsearch cluster (as our default log gathering mechanism
elsewhere).

I noticed the following kernel error prior to expotential increase in
server load, ps listings not returning; and getting stuck on processes
only in an "S" state which seemed unresponsive to signals. (Process was
a ceph-osd if it matters)

So far I am having success with clocksource=tsc despite warnings from the
kernel telling me it is ynstable.

This is off a clean xenial install/update. I will try post test from new kernel
shortly.
