I think https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/os-prober/+bug/1770173 might
be related as well.
The installation hangs at the exact same point: 66% while running the "dmsetup
create -r osprober-linux-something" command.

upstream as well: os-prober hangs when using LVM and cryptsetup.
A fix has been released
