Hi, Here is a work around that worked for me. When the pop up comes do not click on the Cancel or OK button. Just use the close button on the window title bar (the cross button in red) to close the pop up. Doing this will not put the laptop in hibernate or suspend mode and you can continue

Why this bug is marked with low importance? It makes the laptop unusable in battery power. And about the workaround mentioned in the #13 comment, I think it is rather suggesting not use 11.10 and rather asking to use 10.04. Could this issue be considered as a high priority issue? Thanks --
