[Bug 1249201] [NEW] Update results in hung system with Catalyst drivers installed

Public bug reported: Installing recent updates to 13.04 raring on AMD64 results in system hang during bootup on the splash screen. Resolved by removing ATI drivers before installing updates. Successful updates resulted in Kernel 3.8.0-33-generic currently running when system was hanging
