I was having the same problem, I then did as Kenyon suggested and it

I can confirm that this is an issue. I also ended up installing from
upstream because the lack of quotes was causing my --exclude statements
to be completely ignored.

Should I be trying to apply this directly to /usr/bin/parallel-scp? When
I do this I get an error:

I have also experienced this; when running parallel-scp, or parallel-

I am experiencing this issue with Evince in Gutsy as well. I was able to
get my pdf to print using the lpr command like this lpr -P
myprintername mypdf.pdf I simply used the same name as the name of the
printer in the gnome printer config window.
Does anyone have a fix for this? This is very

I'm changing this to invalid I believe that is correct. I no longer
run Feisty which is the release I was in when I was getting this
problem. I've upgraded to Gutsy. In evolution 2.11.5 there are some
changes that should fix this problem (exchange folder scanning is
getting tuned), so I believe

password (required every 60 days) and forget to update evolution before
closing it, then the next time I open evolution it will pop up a request
for the exchange password,
I have recently had a big of enlightenment on this bug, I think. I seem
to only have this problem when beryl is active, is that so for anyone
else? Can anyone confirm that? If so we can close the bug again, because
it'd be a beryl issue, I believe.

Indeed, version 0.5 is significantly better. We should either have 0.5
uploaded, or remove 0.4 from Universe. Of course, it would be great to

Ah, very good then. I actually did it that way because my report seemed
like the more appropriate package. : ( I was not sure if it mattered

I had tried that. But it didn't fix it.
I don't know what the issue was, but the offending config file finally
seems to have removed itself. I coudln't get it to go away before.
Either way, I just decided to try it again and it worked this time.

Not a fresh install of Dapper, I have been running this install for
several months. But no, this system was not at one point a pure Debian
system.

client was on first. The server never seemed to want to install. I don't
