I just checked internally, and we really need it to 15.04. Without some
of these features, as PERST and Add support for EEH error recovery we
have a lot of reliability issues. Without tracepoints issues we hit
areundebug-able.

is correct, there is not technical changes required for libvpd for
14.04.2.

A) If 2.21 makes Ubuntu 15.04, then we are good in terms of patch, we
just need to enable lock elision in gcc build (--enable-lock-
elision=yes).
These are the patch that enable HTM in glibc:
