reset error messages in dmesg, but so far the devices themselves don't
work as the USB hubs themselves still seem to be
Tried experimenting with adding hid to MODULES in /etc/default/acpi-
support. No luck with that either. However, I did notice the following
changes in output of lsusb in before/after suspend/resume:
(BEFORE SUSPEND)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsusb
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 045e:00dd Microsoft Corp.
Oh, the point of the above lsusb info is that the hub itself doesn't
seem to be dead, just that the device that is plugged into it (the MS
Intellimouse) doesn't get re-registered (btw, the device plugged into
USB hub 005 is an MS keyboard).
Unplugging/replugging does nothing to change this.

I'm still having this problem with Feisty as well. I note that when I
use Beryl with Xorg (using nvidia native rather than Xgl), Xorg runs
stable without lockups previously seen.

Xorg process freezes, uses 100% of CPU. Can be killed by remote terminal.

Let's not assume NetworkManager is the problem.
It's great you found a solution, but NM works pretty much perfectly in
Fedora Core 6. So maybe it's a problem with Ubuntu's
implementation/packaging of NM, dbus, or ?
I still have a couple of systems running FC6 on different wireless
I have same problem on an IBM Thinkpad T30 with Prism2 running hostap
driver.
I see that NM disconnects from my WPA network with sudo iwconfig wlan0
essid x mode managed, but then fails to connect to an unencrypted
network -- in fact, it pretty much freezes the desktop, as seen here:
Feisty fails to shut down on IBM Thinkpad T30, stops at Will halt now,
as for others. Have latest BIOS (1.09?), but no joy. Running up-to-
date Feisty Beta, 2.6.20-15-generic. Problem developed post-2.6.20-13
upgrade, but not necessarily due to kernel since 2.6.20-12 no longer
works either.

Onboard USB ports fail after resume on IBM Thinkpad T30.
