You made some weird changes without waiting for my reply, this issue is with my
HD4550, nothing to do with the motherboard.
I can replicate the bug on several other motherboards, with different chipset (
will list it if needed).

Okay, I have found a very weird way to have a fully working 3.12+ kernel
:
1. I install ubuntu from an USD thumbdrive (Booting with nomodeset).
2. I boot ubuntu (with nomodeset)
3. I install the old 3.12 kernel
4. I boot on 3.12 without nomodeset (and I guess, with radeon.audio=1 as defaut

With every kernel more recent than 3.12 (I haven't still found the exact
commit, but the first ubuntu released kernel in which it happens is the
3.13rc1), it seems that the kernel is loaded with radeon.audio=1 by
