I can confirm this, it happens on any partition that is not your current
instalation's.
But is this a bug? When attempting to delete a file in Nautilus, if the
file is in another partition it will tell me that it cannot move the
file to the Trash folder. Maybe this behaviour is intentional?

I don't know what is the GNOME usability guideline about minimum display
resolutions, but this window measures ~660px. Most netbook screens have
about 1024px width x 600px height, so this clearly will not fit.

I can reproduce this bug. Here are the steps I used to reproduce it:
1) Connect with XChat and Konversation to the same server
2) Join the same channel
3) Use Konversation to change the topic to Testing
4) /part the channel in XChat
5) Change the topic to an empty string in Konversation
6) Rejoin
I could not reproduce this bug. Correct me if I understood it wrongly, but you
reported that:
