Sorry that I not follow up this report. I reinstalled Ubuntu, and after
that I have no problem with Synaptic. I think I got a corrupt
installation.

This problem started, when was updating mys system with Update Manager.
Update Manager stoped answering, when it reached step Updating fontconfig
cache...
I tried to fix this manually, but dpkg also stop responding on step Updating
fontconfig
Problem is solved. I just unchecked Let pages use own fonts, instead of
defined above. That was my big misstake.

To dark
meminfo file is empty, and is not able to attatch. But here is the fstab
file. I first did not find the fstab file, but after I started in
recovery mode, and restored some packages, it appear. The swap partion
has now start to work.
