http://AskUbuntu.com They directed me to the daily builds
I heard there was no official release of Kubuntu 12.04 Alpha 1 because
someone on the Kubuntu team had an accident. I just feel that at least
something had be said on the official page

I have read some info on Ubuntu Forums that seems to resolved my issue.
I didn't choose to install 3rd party software before intiating setup and
the bug didn't affect me.

Hello, I'm having a very similar problem. I have the same video chipset
as Ha Thanh. But my CRT monitor is 16 inch; The brand/model is DELL
M770. And I'm using the final release of Lucid Lynx.
