[Bug 1825639] Re: Pulseaudio skips some time in the audio buffer, causing a bluetooth delay and crackling/clicking sound. [Broadcom Corp. BCM20702 Bluetooth 4.0]

2020-09-26 Thread Chris Schadl
Just thought that I would chime in here and say that this is definitely a WiFi interference issue. On my Dell XPS 9550 (bcm20703a1 bluetooth chipset) I would get really bad choppy, de-synced audio sometimes. I finally figured out that whenever it was happening, I was connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi

[Bug 1386005] Re: Password not accepted graphical boot for encrypted root system

2017-08-05 Thread Chris Schadl
This happened to me again today, after I did an apt update. The problem is, the kernel modules (or something) changed, but not the kernel version, so I don't have a backup kernel configuration that I can boot from. This makes it literally impossible for me to boot my machine. -- You received

Public bug reported: Disk is encrypted using full disk encryption. I could enter my password to decrypt the disk when booting in 4.4.0-47, but after upgrading to 4.4.0-51, I'm prompted for the password, but I can't type anything. I think the last time this happened there was some change with

I just tried it by saving an imgboard.html page from 4chan to my computer and commenting out any lines that contained Japanese characters, (notably, the このサイトについて - 翻訳 link at the top of the page, which isn't visible due to the ghosting) and the ghosting didn't happen, whereas it did happen with

loop-aes-source isn't available in any Ubuntu version past 6.06, I think, but you can get the loop-aes-source deb from Debian's testing distribution, (http://packages.debian.org/testing/admin/) then just install it with dpkg and build it using module-assistant. It worked for me with 7.04, 7.10
