I installed Spyder3 v. 3.0.1 and everything is fine. It uses PyQt5,
which is great. The whole problem for me was the PyQt4 thing, and I had
no other reason to use it
Same problem here, it only recently started happening. I got a lot of
kde updates today, and now the 'unlock' or 'password' dialog is gone.
