Thank you so much xfx for finally fixing this silliness! Perhaps you
can submit this to the gnome-screensaver developer and see if it can be
merged into gnome in some way? He said the problem was that no one would
write the code so this should show him.

I don't think this is a samba bug, as I can confirm the bug, but with
sshfs instead. It may be a fuse bug, though since it seems to effect
only gedit, I still would think that gedit has the bug. I can repeat
this one all day long, so let me know if you need some debugging logs.

stuck at 600Mhz.
