Public bug reported:

Kubuntu 19.10 Eoan, System Settings 5.16.5

Actual behaviour:

In Applications->Default Applications->Email Client, there are 2
options: "Use Kmail as preferred email client" or "Use a different email
client". If Kmail is default and the text box is empty, and then I
click "Use a different email client" and use the browse button [...] to
browse to and select Thunderbird, when I click OK the text field is not
updated, and when I click Apply no change is made (Kmail remains the
default on re-entry). If instead I manually type /usr/bin/thunderbird
in the text field and click apply, this appears to be successfully
applied in system settings, but kmail is still launched when clicking an
email link in firefox.

Expected behaviour:

1. Browsing to thunderbird via the browse button and clicking OK should
result in /usr/bin/thunderbird being auto-filled in the text box. I
should not have to type it myself after browsing to it.

2. Changing the default email client should work when clicking a link in
firefox.
