Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
When typing a reply to a received email, a CR will "push down" the text of that received email. There is an embedded vertical line in the new email to show the extent of the previous email (multiple lines to show multiple embeddedness). Immediately above this line, and the embedded text, is a created line which reads "John Doe wrote:" where John Doe is the sender of the email to which you are replying. The bug (finally) is that the screen does not push down the left most pixels in the line "John Doe wrote:", leaving a smidge of the J's tail hanging to the left of the text area. Let me know if you need screen shots, but this should be fairly easy to duplicate. -Bill ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Oct 1 09:30:42 2009 Dependencies: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: mozilla-thunderbird None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/mozilla-thunderbird.list] PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: thunderbird Uname: Linux 2.6.24-24-generic i686 ** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- display bug when replying https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/440085 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
