I've just installed Ubuntu 14.04.3, and now I have tried to install by

I hear the sound of the beginning of ubuntu but the screen is black.
Workaround that I found:
Close the screen cover of my laptop and open again, the imagem appear
requesting my login.
Does anybody knows how to fix it ?

Hi,
I have amost the same problem but my laptop is a Dell Inspiron N5110
with AMD. So I noticed that when I close the screen cover and open
again, it back image screen requested to enter with my log in. It's like
I had let the laptop hibernate.
The workaround was close the screen cover and open
