Public bug reported: Just got my laptop and this problem with with the current Gutsy. The sound on my Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop was not working by default. I had to add the line: options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo to /etc/modprobe.d/options and restart the computer. This should work by default.
