Without any information on configuration, logs and how to reproduce the

Please open a new ticket if the problem persists in the current version.

Unfortunately this is not supported by OpenDKIM today, see:
https://github.com/trusteddomainproject/OpenDKIM/issues/6
OpenDKIM in this version only supports a single signature (parameter
SignatureAlgorithm), eg *either* ‘rsa-sha256’ *or* ‘ed25519-sha256’.

I agree with your analysis. I don’t know how to reproduce this, it is

I myself am using this version already without any problems.
Thank you for your consideration!

I don’t use PHP but if you publish an email address on your Launchpad

there is a trailing space character.
* One other thing I see (don’t think it’s relevant here):
My OpenDKIM installation (2.11.0~alpha-11build1 on Ubuntu 18.04 Server)
can sign your message, and produces a valid signature.
Perhaps some other component at your site or in transit is altering the
folding or line terminators? Anything unusual about your system and
configuration? Perhaps try sett
This still seems to be a problem. We need more information about the
conditions leading to the crash though, config, logs, backtrace etc.

This has been fixed since version 2.11.0~alpha-11 (Ubuntu 18.04).
Now both the systemd and System V init scripts read settings from
/etc/opendkim.conf by default.

The systemd opendkim service no longer reads /etc/default/opendkim. This
has been the case since version 2.11.0~alpha-8 (Ubuntu 18.04).
As it is, there are two alternative ways to customise these settings:
- Option 1:
* Set desired options in /etc/default/opendkim
* Execute `/lib/opendkim/ope
