extras, but there is still no output from amarok. Amarok plays the song,

I had an xorg.conf file, but for some reason it was empty. I ran the
xfix script and it generated the default Magically Configured
xorg.conf file and hardware acceleration subsequently kicked in. Bizarre
that after a fresh install from the Jaunty Final alternate CD, an empty
xorg.conf was

I would like to confirm this bug. In Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid), kvm seems
to be loaded at startup if you have the proper CPU extensions. This
blocks me from being able to start up any virtualbox machine. virtualbox
and kvm need to play nicely

extension, recompile your kernel and reboot.

Using flash-based webcam/conference services such as adobe connect and
userplane, the camera works the first time, then stops working. If at any point
you turn off the camera in the chat interface and then turn it back on, you
will either get a) no picture b)

I can confirm this bug. Note that there is a specific way to reproduce
this bug:
1) Install Jaunty
2) Boot into Jaunty
3) Without running any applications* press Ctl-Alt-L
What happens: Nothing

There is a known bug in pureftpd that causes gvfs not to work properly.
Chris, In fact I don't think this is an issue with gvfs or pureftpd.
pureftpd may affect other bugs, but it is not the case here. I have

OK, a little more testing and research done. I looked up the oooforum
site for ftp errors and found this workaround that seems to work:
Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - General.
Under Open/Save dialogs, check the Use OpenOffice.org dialogs.
Now when saving a document, for the filename, you can
