Just upgraded to openafs-modules-dkms 1.6.7-1ubuntu1 via trusty-
proposed. Module built successfully, restarted openafs-client, and now
/afs appears to be working properly.

Same behavior on my machine, Intel Q6600 running 10.04.1 LTS x86_64 with
linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic version 2.6.32-24.38. Behavior disappears
if I boot into previous version 2.6.32-23.37.

Yes, module-assistant loop-aes used to work in Intrepid. The change
from CONFIG_BLK_DEV_LOOP=m to CONFIG_BLK_DEV_LOOP=y is new in the Jaunty
kernel. Not sure why.
