I've had the same issue. Razer was working fine, then I went through the nvidia update problems with 2.6.17-10 to 11. Now when I boot the Razer is not recognised. If I unplug and replug, it does work. If I reboot it is not recognised. A PS/2 mouse on another port does work all the time. Linux
