backlight control is not working. It just sets 2 values (looks like it's
minimum and maximum backlight) randomly when I move the slider. F1 and F2 are
not working at all and xbacklight has the same issue
i.e.
xbacklight -set 84 - minimum
I have the same problem. I use a macbook core duo first generation.
The kernel 2.6.24-8.14 uses a lot of power,
powertop shows kernel IPI : Rescheduling interrupts doing ~300/500
wakeups on idle.
When not idle it goes up to 6000 - 1 wakeups
There is also a usb device 4-1 that makes 100
The problem is still present.
I'm using a clean hardy alpha 5 install.
I also did all upgrades today, and after reboot layout options are not applied.
I have to open Layout Options window and change something to apply them.

I have a first generation white macbook core duo 1.83ghz.
The problem is that alsa-mixer controls for master and front are wrong.
Master seems to be a lowpass filter, and front seems to be a highpass filter.
This is lspci -vvv for audio chip :

I'm using gutsy.
It should autocomplete the url you're writing inside browser textbox
according to history entries. Autocomplete entries are listed in a combobox
but the textbox does not autocomplete.
Try it with Firefox you'll understand better.
