All I did was try to install UNetbootin using Terminal on Lubuntu 13.04
and it said it crashed. I used the institution from the following

I'm not sure this is actually related to the fact that the partitions
are encrypted, so much as having a separate partitions for /home
partitioned as btrfs. I'm running into an almost identical problem, but
not encrypted.

With new install (12.04) I confirm this problem.
I can simply unplug keyboard and then re-plug and all is then well.
Serious problem as we cannot always be doing this every time we switch
on computer.
With PS/2 connection no problem, just with the USB.
Consequence - cannot login in.

I have problem with sound on .pps and .ppt presentation files.
The sound stutters at about 1 second intervals.
The same files work perfectly with Mandriva 2008.1 (kernel 2.6.24) and OOo

Running Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon)
The Ubuntu kernel detects my hard drive's Host Protected Area by
default, allowing me to create partitions within this area. Other
distributions (Arch Linux, specifically) do not detect
It has indeed been fixed in Feisty Fawn. Feisty Fawn now uses the
bootcd-mkinitramfs package instead of bootcd-mkinitrd; I think this is
what is primarily responsible for the fix.
On the same note, however, the default bootcd package in Feisty Fawn has
a typo (I think). Trying to run bootcdwrite
The bug is not a firefox bug - it's a more fundamental one
because it can be reproduced by running poplib.py with
the same result : the connection times out.
