Sorry, I probably should've tried the latest version first. I've attached a few of the themes I used - the "MacOSX" one is the icon-only theme, "Aero" has a full GNOME theme with widgets and window borders, and all the others are widget-only themes. I got all of these from websites like art.gnome

I can boot the herd3 desktop cd with 2.6.20-6-generic without problems though. ls /dev/ shows again hde and hde1..8. being my partitions on my primary harddrive. But why is it hde and not sda, like it used to be? Or at least hda? No sign of any SATA sdx devices.. By the way, the partitioner also
