I downloaded the tsclient from sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/tsclient and got it configured (had to remove gnome-desktop-2.0 files, and install some others)... make and make install worked and I'm now using it. No lockups so far. -- terminal server client disables mouse on

The problem is with permissions to use the printer. if you sudo chmod 777 /dev/usb/lp0 (/dev/usb/lp0 or where the device is) then inkblot does work. I don't know if this permission will survive printer disconnection or reboot. -- Inkblot Doesn't work for Ubuntu 8.04

I might be wrong... dmesg shows ... [1.112011] ata1.00: configured for UDMA/100 [1.383809] ata2.00: configured for UDMA/33 ... so they might be correct, I was just checking hdparm and noticed all the failed: messages. -- DMA doesn't work in hardy on T43p dvd drive
