I can confirm this. The current version in the universe repository for both Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 (alpha1) is gramps (3.2.3) (ubuntu version -1 in 10.10 and -4 in 11.04) There is a downloadable .deb specifically packaged for Ubuntu 10.10 at the Gramps Sourceforge website. Maybe you would add
