I've also proposed, on bug 1041169, that these reports are the same
problem.
This report is about losing Ctrl-Alt-T, that one is about losing custom
keybindings. It looks to me like Ubuntu implements Ctrl-Alt-T by
installing it as a custom keybinding. And all those shortcuts are lost
in the same

I can confirm this, now, too. I didn't have any custom shortcuts, but I
downgraded gnome-settings-daemon to 3.4.2-0ubuntu8, and made some.
gnome-control-center-* needed to be downgraded to the same version, to
run properly. Shortcuts under 0ubuntu8 did not survive into 0ubuntu9.
I could make new
This doesn't look like the same crash report as bug 1005677, which
crashes calibre and other qt4 apps. But, when I do the workaround for
that bug,
LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 calibre
then I can't reproduce this crash, either. So it may be related. I
don't have a clear picture yet.

I got time to build 0.6.8 with the patch applied, now that 0.6.8 is in
Ubuntu. (It's great having bug 824708 fixed.)
It continues to work for me. I can't trigger the remove-all-multiarch
behavior. I've tried marking important packages like apt, unity, or
libc6 for removal, and it only shows me
File-roller, in Quantal at least, is experiencing a lot of failures
right now. There's a pretty good chance that's the problem. What do
you see if you run file-roller from the command-line?

My impression is, that's not what androith is describing. I think bug
996480 is about keyboard shortcuts not being active. In this report,
Alt-Tab takes an action, but isn't working correctly. As in other
reports about window switching in Unity, like bug 868528 or bug 1035668.

So, the upstream bug is marked fixed, but it hasn't reached Totem 3.4.3,
as currently in Quantal. I'm afraid I'm a bit confused by bugzilla's
