When linux-crashdump (5.4.0.58.61) is enabled on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS,
everything appears to be in good working order, according to "systemctl
status kdump-tools" and "kdump-config status". However, upon an actual
crash, the system hangs, and no crash files are produced. I've

I can add that in my 2x2 monitor arrangement, the panel is reserving
space but on the wrong monitor. If the panel is on a monitor on the
bottom row, it reserves space on the monitor directly above it instead
of the monitor that it's on. Seems to be a variation of @fbernier
comment.
On my variation
All regression failures, PASSED after a retry. There is no autopkgtest
regression (failures) anymore.

I recently updated to Linux Mint Kernel 4.15.0-122 and now my machine
will not play sound out of headphones. It plays sound out of the built
in speakers. It recognizes that there is a headphone jack inputted into
the machine when there is one - but no sound emits.

I was running 20.04 and had the docker.io package installed. ZFS root.
I ran do-release-upgrade to upgrade to 20.10. At the end of the upgrade, it
said it errored on package docker.io

I had the same problem after upgrade to 20.04
Setting / Sound / Output / Test produced no sound.
Pressing the test button resulted in an error in syslog:
gnome-control-c: Failed to play sound: No such driver
libcanberra-pulse was missing:
apt search libcanberra
libcanberra-pulse/focal 0.30-7ub
Additional information:
It was a happy accident that gnome-control-manager worked for me when I
configured it. The configuration consists of a single embedded device
connected to the wired port and the hotel ISP connected to the USB port.
Had I switched them, it would not work.

I found the issue. The CTKI is an idiot who didn't realize System Volume
is per device, and not global. Only took me 2 days to find out.
I don't think I can close the issue myself, please close it before it
wastes somebody's time.

In the system sound settings, I can clearly see 2 audio devices:
