I can confirm this. It makes googleearth very difficult to use. For
example the tip of day becomes hidden behind the 3D portion of the
window. It appears and disappears with movements of the mouse. Turning
desktop effects off causes things to return to normal. I'm running hardy
beta with all

Same problem on Dell E1505. Wireless works but no indicator light. Up-
to-date with latest hardy after installing the beta today.
