AFAIK, iwlwifi is included in the official kernel now, so this issue is
moot. It was already updated before it got included as well. So I
recommend closing this bug.

iwlwifi drivers need updating
It doesn't work with firefox 3 beta which is in hardy atm. Try
installing xulrunner (1.8, not the 1.9 version).

The iwlwifi drivers from http://www.intellinuxwireless.org/ have had
several new releases, which all contain bugfixes, since the last update
in Ubuntu.
As of this writing the latest iwlwifi driver is 1.1.21, released on Nov
1 2007
