Well
I was getting the problem worse, because the power cable was also over
heating.
So I call HP and ask it for the warranty, they give me the ticket number
and went to the store and one of the people there told me that this
model the HP Pavillion 2135 has some over heat problems and it is
yeah in my case it seems the problem is only with ubuntu

Hi there
I have a Hp Pavillion 2135LA (dv 2000). I installed the ubuntu 6.06 and
the laptop was always really ovearheat, then I upgraded to 6.10 - 7.04
and it was the same.
Also I have the problem with the battery life, it only works for 1 hour.
So I think the problem for
I installed the Gutsy official release today, I had this bug but I fixed
disabling the add ons, then close the thunderbird, and star the program
again
I enable the add ons and so far is working fine
